Mimosa Springs opened in 1994 as the original memory care community in Scottsdale. Mimosa Springs offers directed care (the highest level in assisted living), medication technicians, certified caregivers, and a full-time activities department. Mimosa Springs is deficiency-free with the Arizona Department of Health Services. This small but charming community is very home-like. Our caregivers at Mimosa Springs Assisted Living are caring and devoted to your loved one’s wellbeing. They are trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. The average employee has worked for Mimosa Springs for over eight years, which is an indication of how devoted they are to our mission. Our individualized service plans, in conjunction with a nurse practitioner, are developed to promote social interaction, optimize function, and enhance self-esteem. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that ensures our residents live at their highest level of ability and comfort.
Mimosa Springs has recently completed Phase 1 of its renovation, which includes new flooring, furniture, lighting, window coverings, paint and fixtures in the resident rooms and bathrooms. Mimosa Springs will undergo the second phase of the renovation starting mid-summer of 2024. Phase 2 includes the activities room, TV Room, hallways, and dining areas.
